As Executive Producer and Event Chair, I led the 16th Annual Pineapple Ball, continuing the modernization of the Chamber’s premier black-tie fundraiser. Building on the prior year’s redesign, the 2018 “Enchanted Garden” gala further refined the immersive format and strengthened its fundraising performance.
The evening featured non-assigned seating with a balanced mix of lounge and table configurations, interactive dining stations, and honoree tribute videos in place of traditional speeches. A curated “Taste of Garden City” cocktail hour highlighted local restaurant partnerships, while live entertainment by The Atomic Funk Project kept the energy high throughout the night.
I oversaw all fundraising initiatives, including sponsorships, journal advertising, and silent auction strategy and execution. I directed the full creative vision and graphic design of the event—spanning invitations, menus, journal production, promotional materials, and on-site branding. With more than 350 attendees, the 16th Annual Pineapple Ball reinforced the gala’s evolution into a high-energy, community-driven fundraising experience.
