I served as Event Planner, Producer, and Chair for the 15th Annual Pineapple Ball, the Chamber’s largest and primary annual fundraiser. Tasked with revitalizing a gala whose attendance and energy had begun to decline, I led a full reimagining of the event’s format, flow, and guest experience.

The traditional seated dinner was replaced with a non-assigned lounge-style layout and buffet stations designed to encourage movement and social connection. Lengthy honoree speeches were transformed into professionally produced three-minute tribute videos followed by concise award presentations—maintaining momentum while elevating impact. I introduced a “Taste of Garden City” cocktail hour featuring donated chef-attended stations, strategically offsetting production costs while strengthening community partnerships.

I directed all fundraising strategy, including silent auction solicitation and oversight, journal ad sales and committee leadership, and sponsorship coordination. I also oversaw the complete visual identity—designing invitations, menus, journal layouts, advertising, social media assets, and branded event materials. The revitalized gala drew more than 350 guests and was widely regarded as one of the most successful Pineapple Balls in the Chamber’s history.
