From 2017 through 2020, I led event strategy, marketing, coordination, and execution for a year-round portfolio of Chamber programming, overseeing initiatives that strengthened downtown vitality, supported member engagement, and deepened community connection. This included recurring networking and business gatherings, civic celebrations, seasonal activations, and signature community traditions.
Each year’s calendar encompassed business networking breakfasts and luncheons designed to foster peer connection and professional development, as well as community-focused celebrations such as the Annual Easter Vintage Car Parade, a multi-decade tradition drawing hundreds of participants and spectators that closes key downtown corridors to spotlight classic cars and mark the holiday. I also coordinated the Village Tree Lighting, a seasonal community gathering with local partners and stakeholders, Ribbon Cuttings and the Annual Chamber Golf Outing, which united business leaders and sponsors in a mix of recreation and fundraising. Additional community activations included merchant programing like Adopt-a-Lamppost and other themed events aimed at promoting local business visibility.
In addition to comprehensive event leadership, I developed and executed all marketing, promotional, and public relations efforts for the Chamber’s calendar. I oversaw the design, creation, and distribution of all graphic assets, including event branding, posters, digital and print flyers, social media content, sponsor recognition materials, and on-site signage, elevating the Chamber’s visibility across platforms and driving sustained engagement from residents, businesses, and visitors.
Sponsor promotion and recognition were central to the success of this portfolio, and I ensured partner visibility was thoughtfully integrated into pre-event marketing, on-site experiences, and digital campaigns. I coordinated logistics, vendor and municipal partnerships, permit facilitation, and operational execution for each event, ensuring consistently high standards and alignment with community and Chamber objectives.
These initiatives reinforced the Chamber’s role as one of New York State’s most active business organizations, strengthening community identity, supporting local commerce, and fostering inclusive engagement across professional and public audiences.
